Where do they live? The live in the desert and arid scrubland of Mexico and the American Southwest.

How do they nest?
A Cactus Wren builds its nest deep among the protective spines of a Cholla Cactus. These birds only nest where there are suitably dense thickets of cactus. The Cactus wren makes a nest with a side opening.
