Field Guide to the Rio Salado - Birds |
||
| Birds are an integral part of the environment in the Rio Salado Park. The riparian habitats that are being rebuilt there attract birds of all kinds to their food and water sources. Thanks to Arizona State University's GK-12 Science Fellowship Program, we recieved 15 pairs of binoculars which we have used to learn to identify and study the variety of species that can be found in the park. Here are first of our bird pages that will be included in our in-progress field guide to the Rio Salado Park. | ![]() |
